LOLOLOLOL cmon man you can't be telling us how you are getting a degree and then throwing it out. Communications is not a major (it is, but not really). Theres a reason all the college athletes major in communications and psychology. Not really much you are going to do with either of those. Go into engineering or nursing. Will always find a job with them. I got my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering and now getting my MBA in Finance. Just saying man... :duel:

I have to admit I love hearing this, I've been to classes where I was one of the only two-five to show up that day and heard this. That shouldn't have to be a laudable event! Even at Home Depot my work ethic is something I can be proud of. This is one topic it is completely acceptable to pride yourself on and compare to others I think. It may even influence others to take accountability of their own work ethic.

God damn..tell me about it haha I remember being a manager. Was just like that. Hell I've had people around my age that are managers not be good with face to face conversations so they made me do confrontations to employees...haha

    Sad shit.

Larry I don't have the mental leeway to deal with your nonsense today, you know damn well I'm going to automotive school after this. But either way it is a very applicable degree. Aren't you planning on putting your degree to the side to become a mall cop or some shit?

Yea but not for the bay area. Tech companies are based there. Rents are insane and cost of living is ridiculous.ost expensive area to live in the country. So probably not the same as 96k a year out this way. Which I just had a buddy get hired to high way patrol. He can make 120k a year eventually doing that....in Wyoming haha

Eh not worth it to me. The police up here are all high school grads and they just fuck people over daily. Never seen a small town with 900 cops in it doing nothing.

Your state patrol troopers were some of the kindest I've ever met. Every one of them I have met in California or Washington has been a complete dickhole with an inferiority complex the size of the Atlantic Ocean. I didn't mention Oregon because I am convinced they can't afford State Patrol, never seen one there.

Yeah except I just got offered for a position in the bay area from Oracle making less than that starting out. But yeah obviously not the same as making 96k a year out year. Thats why the cops out this way make like 55k to 60k a year here. But still CA is not 35k more expensive to live in a year lol

Fuck California state troopers I've never met people with such a small man syndrome rangers are the second worse you'll get either awesome people who just want to keep you riding safe or you'll get as wholes who want you to get tickets so they'll check everything they possibly can

Yea they are great usually. Very nice guys from my encounters. Not looking for tickets really. Just keeping things safe.

Have you looked at that area? It's INSANE what the tech companies have done to cost of living there. Might not be 35k more..but it's pretty damn high.

CHP? Those guys are fuck heads. They are usually the ones that can't be cops in the Bay Area and get thrown into CHP in some shit hole off of Highway 5

So true too, the CHP has to be one of the most infamous Highway divisions in the US.

Lol my parents still live there. Housing prices have gone up astronomically. I mean my dad just remodeled my grandmas house and we are renting that out for $3400 a month. Super nice house but still expensive as tits.
