Ya, but come on. Ours were racks specifically desiged for the kyacks and our truck. And we were doing a pretty minor trail too. If they were only desiged to hold on flat concrete roads, they should specify.

 

Ya, it was more "oh fuck" than anything. Im just happy the damage is not worse.

 

Well I procrastinated and only installed one AAL tonight because I started late. Found out I suck at wrenching once I'm super tired AF lol. Somehow I cross thread my centering pin/ bolt for the leaf and when I tried to fix that in my super tired state wasn't paying attention and made that unusable lol. So tomorrow after work I have to get one so I can install the other side lol

 

I always try to read your posts and then you get super mechanical and I want to understand what you're saying... but I don't. What I really need is a field trip to your garage for some wrenching lessons.

We got it second hand, no package as we needed the rack to move the yacks in the first place. Let me see if i can find anything online about. We may very well be idiots.

 

Yeah I get that deer in head light look a lot. Especially at work because I learn something and then learn everything about it quickly becoming an expert in a short time lol. It's kinda of a curse at work as I've moved into more responsible jobs within my work four times doing new stuff each time in less than 2 years since starting. Only one got me a pay increase lol.
