$80 for shipping will make it hard to make it worth your while, I think. But see what he'll do for you

Ahh i see now. Well if nothing's broken or messed up with it I'd see if he'll take $450 for the whole thing if everything was intact and not completely trashed

Then you can make a good decision I think!! Doesn't have to be brand new to be usable. Pull the trigger if you feel good about it and can swing the money. And make sure you get every piece of hardware that came with it. Instructions included

Yes that's true. It's just a pain to locate individual piece of hardware when you get something used lol

Yeah he cut it to make it fit with Voodoo bed rails so unless you have the same exact bed rail it's just a place for water leakage to happen. I wouldn't get it especially when a brand new one can be had for a little bit more

Yeah I would just pass on it, unless you measure it and know it'll fit. I generally don't like buying modified stuff period

That's word. I think you did the right thing. Didn't seem like the right price for something that's been modified

Yeah man no problem lol you can never go wrong with asking for more opinions. I've gotten burned buying used stuff before so I always like to advise folks when buying used

What'd you get burned on? As a rule of thumb I try to get stuff for cars/trucks new even tho I pay more for it new I know there shouldn't be anything wrong with it that sales didn't mention

Back in my younger days (lol) I bought an amp and subwoofer from a guy off craigslist that promised he had it lying around after he sold his old car, and that it was barely used. Talked to some friends in my area that actually ended up knowing him and said that was complete BS. Amp burned out after a few months and I was livid.

Someone I know also got ripped off on a 4runner as well... it's mechanically sound but the interior is kinda trashed and the salesman said a little old lady in georgia drove it around town.... turns out when i detail it there is dried paint in nooks and crannies in the interior and the roof was pretty trashed with road tar so i believe that story to have been false lol but it still runs like a champ to this day
