whoever buys my coilovers is gonna want new shafts :( found rust tonight. How much are new shafts for icons so I can appropriately discount them?

Good news is that all 4 bypass shocks are rust free. Only one is blown. Rear 2 are getting rebuilt tomorrow.

With money and parts, anything can be done.

You have to drill the roof for the feet. New rails, new side rails, new crossbars

How much was that quoted for?

If you do that can you take pics? Maybe do an install thread? I would like to do that one day.

Nice! I get my KM2 255 next weekend. Pumped.

    $55 per shaft for coilovers.

That's cheap af. I was expecting at least a bill. Whew.

Thanks man. That makes me feel better. Full rebuild with new shafts should run around 100 for parts per shock and another hundred for labor or so. At least with the shop I'm having rebuild. Maybe I'll just have them rebuilt and sell them as freshly rebuilt... we will see.

This place in my hometown that works on all the bro trucks people in my high school drove. They are expensive for some things, but I've always been happy with what they've quoted me. Shock rebuild including the kit, pulling the shocks off the truck, rebuilding, and replacing since I don't have time to pull them off is 280 (bypasses are more expensive I think).

If you bring them in off the truck, I think 100 bucks would be knocked off.

Also they do great work and are the nicest people

Shop is LGE CTS. If you google custom truck shop, San Dimas, they come up.

I think Dale is the owner. Really great guy. When you call you'll get LGE which is the paint shop. Just ask for custom truck shop.

They actually did a full suspension install for me on my tacoma when I first got it and didn't know a thing. Did a great job!

I'm pretty hyped on them pulling them off the truck since I have work. Just having the girlfriend bring it in for me.

Both shocks needed new shafts. Bummer but still not that pricey.

Can't wait til the Kings get here for the front! Waiting game sucks. Need to sell the front set up.

My rear icons were the only shafts I've ever had to replace. So dumb.
