Oh man some offices are shady. Back in the day when i used to be on my parets insurance i broke my wrist and they charged my parents for a blood transfusion i never needed or recieved. My parents disputed the claim and instead of looking into it they sent my parents to collections! My parents have perfect credit and this scared the shit out of them so they sucked it up and paid anyway. Bastards.

 

At work I simply tell them this is a government office and to stop calling. We usually never hear from them again after that. Done it a few times when they would call on the landline at the house when we had one too. Works wonders. They won't fuck with the government. lol

 

Maybe I'll start doing that... it's seriously out of hand.

 

I've had them say we're going to report you to the credit agency. I tell them to go ahead that no one gives a fuck about your shitty mark on my credit. Honestly they really don't care. Hell my bank told me one time if you pay us your credit is good with us. We could care less if you don't pay anyone else. lmao.

 

Well i suppose if you already have all the lines of credit you ever plan on having open, already own your home and plan on paying for the rest of your vehicles in cash its the way to go

 

Yup you know whats the craziest was that like 5 years later when i was cleaning up my credit that shit showed up even though it was paid off and happened when i was a minor! Fools raped hard.

Hell, Verizon marked my credit and I didn't even owe them shit. They bought out Cellular One in 2003 and tried to claim I owed them money from something at Cellular One. I told them I paid that shit and even if I didn't I don't owe you shit. They contact me overtime when it's about to go off my credit report to keep it on there. Everyone that has seen it could care less. My credit is spotless besides that. Hell they even threatened to sue me for $40. I laughed. I can't stand shit like that when a company buys someone else and feels the need to harass you over shit that was years old when they bought them and idon't have the records to show it was paid. Perhaps that's why the company couldn't stay in business and had to sell, cause they had shitty record keeping skills.


Has a hospital turn me over to collections 5 years after I had paid the bill off. Get this, they turned me over while I was on their payment plan and finished it out and paid it off. When I got the call from the collection agency I told them that had been paid and they got screwed buying that account. She said do you have proof of payment. Yup, I just happen to still have the final payment receipt in my wallet that hasn't been changed in 5 years. Faxed it to her and shut her the hell up. lol

 

Ya, i think its like every 7 years or so. Im an old man now and my credits good. Not as good as the sos though. His is in the 800s.

 

It does. They will contact again and keep it going to they can report it again for a different incident. I think Verizon has finally given up now. Haven't heard from them in a long time. We'll see if it gets to fall off this time.

When I financed my truck in 2012 he said it was on there. Toyota finance didn't care either. Hell, Toyota beat my banks rate so I went with them at 1.7%

 

Holy shit thats a VERY good rate. We put over 30% down on both cars and our shits at 1.9. With a fucking 849 credit score.

Ya, i really needed someone to hold my hand through my first credit card. They gave my $3k the minute i turned 18 and all i thought was FREE MONEY! Ya, that messed up my credit long after i paid it off. Im ocd about being everywhere on time but cant pay bills on time and will drain every penny in my bank account.
