What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Anyone here ever have "mod guilt"? Haha it's not so much to do with the money spent, but more to do with the limited lifetime of what it's being spent on. In one year of ownership I've gone from 36k to 63k miles.. I keep this up and I'll be in the high mileage range in just a few years. Maybe my subconscious is just trying to find justification for a sporty DD

My biggest reason is usually when I work on it I drink beer and forget to take pictures or drink beer and don't do shit

Every frigging day. Over $15k in mods. 130k now.
Good news is these things will go 400-500k before u need major work if u r diligent about maintenance.
Then just buy a trailer, go SAS, and get a vette for a DD. And a tow vehicle.

I unscrewed the aluminum frame from the inside and then pop them out, you may need two people for this job. Easiest thing I've even done though. Just be careful not to strip the screws.

I fixed my power steering problem , I grease the steering wheel u-joint!

 

de-stickered my truck. After 6 years of sun I was worried that there would be paint fading issues but it came out perfect. It only took about a half hour. I also removed the bug deflector but that can't be seen in the pic

 

Looks great. If clear coat is good usually no paint fade.
