    Front locker on IFS = snapping CV axles. Ask me how I know. Chevy will find this out the hard way. A-Trac is the best option for IFS, and we have that.

    :deadhorse: There's a thousand threads on here about that, and they all end with "it will never happen".

    There are hints and rumors about a new FJ being released soon.

    I am curious. Was it a rod or joint that failed? I would think those rods, even small as they are, would be able to withstand a significant torsional load, and it would be most likely a joint issue. What was it, O' Traveled One?

    They are 35's. Had 4.88 gears after installing 35's. It did it when it had 33's, too.

    yeah, I do HVAC system design. All of the government paperwork side of it and drawings, then we subcontract installation out. We now have to go do the functional testing with our subs before bringing the government out.
