    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I'm not arguing that a full body would make it stiffer. That is a fact for sure. I'm just saying something as flimsy as our bed certain isn't holding together the rear end that much. A full body is much more structural.

    Mine will need to be done this summer as well. Makes popping noises a few times when I'm turning. Could be something else but 166k miles into the OEM one may be time to swap out

    This is the third rack I've installed on my truck. It's replacing a leaking Rack Doctor remain with crappy ITREs. Don't waste your time with anything other than OEM for the steering rack.

    That's right. I recall now reading your comments about the rack from Rack Doctor.

    Is the one you just installed a CVJ OE reman or is it a brand new one from Toyota? Looks brand new.

    That's a brand new rack from Toyota. Found it for about $550. Price doesn't seem bad if you look at the price for the OEM ITREs by themselves.

    Yes it comes with the ITREs. Got it from Titus Will with the discount code they advertise on here, cheapest I could find. Although their customer service left a lot to be desired. Will not order from them again.

    I can't remember if you've had the bumps in the front for a while or if they were part of the new front end build. If they were already on, how do you like them? Did you have to do anything to modify the LCA where they strike?

    Yeah, they're replacing superbumps that didn't work out. Had to drill and tap the frame, and welded the holes on the LCA shut. Although that probably wasn't necessary.
