Im not exactly sure. They are more of a general automotive shop. Whereas High-Tech, in my opinion, is more of an off road/lifted trucks shop, although they can do general automotive too

 

i am probably going to go w/ C&C to get mounted / balanced.... but go to High-Tech for the actual alignment post lift.


now: question for you guys.... when I did my lift on the 4Runner(s), I just pried the LCA down and put the coil in....but I see in all of the Low Range Offroad videos, they loosen the LCA bolts and it swings down.....

which would be easier for my Taco?

 

I disconnected the spindle towards the top so the uca and lca could be independent. After that, I would use my little OEM Toyota soda can jack and jack up the lca until the eyelet met the bottom of the coil. Put the bolt in and then fasten the spindle back up.

 

I would think it would be easier to take the UCA ball joint castle nut off, so that could be lifted out of the way. Youre going to get an alignment anyways, so you might as well make it easier on yourself, instead of prying stuff.

I think you are leaving your sway bar on, but thats easy enough to disconnect while you disconnect things to put the coil in. I forget if @boogie3478 had his sway bar on or not.

 

Nope, I ditched my sway bar about 2 years ago ... of course I drive my truck like a truck and not a car so I barely notice it.
