When I was in 5th grade, our class held an "Invention Convention." I invented the Cat-B-Gone: a photoeye connected to a set of PVC pipes and high pressure sprinklers. I felt bad for testing it our own cat, but it worked!

Now, a few other companies have patented the idea. Had I known how a REAL patent worked (not the one my teacher gave me), I would have been able to afford some truck mods by now lol

 

I've heard moth balls works to keep them away too. Like put a few in a coffe can and then put a few holes in the lids and set it out.

I also read somewhere that cats generally bring their kills to people because they see us as terrible predators who can't feed ourselves. That cat is trying to feed your family!

 

Teacher probably had you sign rights over to them and the teacher is sitting pretty now. Lol
