When you guys decide if you're going just let me know. I can come to your place or my place again. I just picked up the CB and antenna and wiring harness so I may goof around with installing that as well.

really the only reason i was even looking at the big country is because you could adjust the shackle angle which i thought was a nice feature.

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
Just went to lunch and went to the truck for a second and the battery was saying it was dead... like last red light on the monitor and alarm going off dead.

Was perfectly fine this morning going to work and started just fine.

Couldn't jump it with a friends portable jumper, so had to grab a car and hook up to it. Was really weird though as at first when it was on the jumper cables it would show normal, then when I went to the on position it dropped back down to dead... after moving the jumper cables around and such it stopped doing that... now the battery shows that it is charging when the truck is on and that it is normal when it is not...

No clue what happened but kinda has be worried there is something else going on... going to check it here in a couple hours before I leave for work and see what the monitor says... then tonight when I get home I am going to do a fully truck inspection and check bolts, fluids, etc.

Any ideas on what it could have been?

All seem to be adjustable. The ATO has 3 on the frame mount and 3 for the shackle mount.

Likewise. Not sure I can use the CB though. Its too big. I may have to sell it and find something smaller. My fault for being to anxious I guess. The rest of the gear should work though.

both actually. I guess 2nd gens have more room than the thirds. I'm sure I can sell it on ebay or something. Unless someone on here needs a kickass CB? :fingerscrossed:

Hold on to it for a few days, REALLY don't need an in-cab mounted CB (handheld would be plenty for what I ever would use it for), but that weather band option is tempting. Anyone know of an antenna setup that would clear a parking garage? (part of why I never bought it off him was remembering him having to hold the antenna back every time he went in/out of the garage)

really depends on where you mount it... if i have my 3ft firestick on my front bumper i dont have any problems with a 6ft 9in garage at work or if i have my 102" whip tied down to the roof rack its fine also

I only mount the antenna when I'm planning on using it, stays in the garage day-to-day.
