I'm heading to Greenridge this weekend for some solo camping. Any tips on good sites? Preferably near fishing opportunities.

Roger. I've looked at a few maps but it's difficult to see the elevation. I will pick out a few sites that I think could work and run them by the park office.

85 overflow is right on water not sure if the fishing is good .the over flow has a cement pad on it from a former building but there's plenty of space for a tent

Only problem with the site is it's not as private as others since it's right of the road but traffic usually isn't a problem at that end off the park

66 also has water access use to be very private but now they cleared it and made parking for the water access but the site isn't bad just not as private as it use to be .At one time you had to have a truck to access site but they leveled the road too it's off Outdoor club rd

Thanks for the info! 66 was one of the sites I was interested in, but I am looking for something private.

    What did I miss?

Why is Dave pimping me out?

Since when did T4R owners start preferring the same sex?

Why does Colin hate us and is moving away?

Did Chip die? He comments on my Facebook every now and again but I think it's his ghost.

not yet. working with a family currently, but it's not looking promising. appears that they would be stretching themselves pretty thin to afford it.
would love to get rid of it, but we're not afraid to wait for the right buyers/price.

65 is before 66and it up a steep hill or use to be and is private but a little bit of a walk to the water but you could drive to end of road and park for the water access

This was always temporary. I moved here May of 2015 from Long Island NY where I was born and raised. I had to get out of NY, absolutely hate it there. Position opened in Jessup MD with my job which was also a promotion so I jumped on it. I never expected to stay here, always wanted NC but the opportunity wasn't there at that time. I like MD over NY but it's far from ideal. Wheels are in motion for June of 2018 which I'm very excited about. No worries though, I'll still participate in the MD page lol
