With my resi hoses I can't fit my spanner wrench in there. Trying a #3 screwdriver

 

SPC Light Racing UCA's aren't to bad, but they have climbed in cost since I got mine.

 

For the price he might as well get Total Chaos uca on toytec, with the TW coupon they're cheaper than the LR ones

Yes and sprayed the threads.

 

SPC can be tuned on the upper where the Total Chaos are locked. While most people only need the bump in the castor (provided by the TC UCA's), I was able to set my lower cam tabs to push my tires as far forward in the wheel wells and complete my alignment only on the uppers. The TC's still require the cams to be adjust for alignment. Is it the end all be all, no, but I found it useful for myself as a feature.

 

It sounds easier just to get that done somewhere so you don't screw up your alignment

 

Completely disconnect the lower end and allow it to rotate freely.

 

Ok, thanks. I did that. I think my problem might have been not loosening the top collar. Sucks I can't use the wrench I bought

Why not? The spanner should work, with the lower disconnected and collar nut loosened.
