Turns out that the undiagnosed rattle (that sounded as though it was coming from the right front) has nothing to do with suspension at all. This thing was missing a rear mounting bolt on the opposite side. Seems that I drive around shedding fasteners and put a bunch of time into overlooking the obvious.

He's just getting started. And probably wants to experience the fun of buying every single thing leading up to Kings and TC.

That's probably what SPC uses as bushings.

I had OME on my first gen and was quite satisfied. Did not need UCAs.

Coming to second gen, I started looking into OME and the BP51s, keeping my powder dry so I could learn about 2nd gen shit. Everybody bitched about the front OME shocks clunking (I think bottoming), and then the BP51 finally came out and offered no better travel than all the nitrocharger shit. So fuck the OME stuff (except Dakars).

Then I started looking into the Fox/Icon/King crowd. Corrosion, top hat failures, leaks, etc. OK, fuck it, Kings it is. Then UCAs. Tried to stay with balljoints. Gripes about SPC UCAs, gripes about Camburg BJs (among other things Camburg), looked into and bought some JBA UCAs. Got my hands on them, did not like the substandard fab quality. Tried to discuss with the owner, and he just said return them for a refund. OK, you got it Jack, take yer shit back. Looked into uniballs begrudgingly, squeaky squeaks, maintenance, blah blah blah. Ended up deciding TC was the only tear-free solution.

My time and labor is like fucking unobtanium these days. Only have time to do it once.

Could be worse, you could be like me and order everything like 3 fucking times before you get it right.

But I've got the JBA UCAs and have got zero complaints with 'em.
