CBI sliders, ADS extend travel with compression adjuster coil overs, 9” Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, Icon Tubular UCA, Alcan custom leafs, All Pro Apex bumper and skids, NWTI rear diy bumper, 295/70/17 Cooper St Maxxs and nitro 4.88s.
Comes with a adhesive pad on the back, feels very sturdy! I have no complaints about my set up. Only thing I would change is the location. Id move it above the airbag key hole if I could.

I've got my hazards switch where your airbag key hole is, but I mounted directly above that spot and I love it. The magnet makes me feel like I'm in the future even though my truck is from 97

    It's basically rectangle, maybe 2.5" x 1.75"... less than a millimeter thick I'd say

I attached an Aukey magnetic air vent mount to the air bag blank on a double cab. Took 5 minutes and very solid.

Yep, that spot is blank on my truck too. I just put Velcro (hard side) there, and the Velcro soft on the back of my phone. I bought the pack of 2"x4" pieces, and cut to fit perfectly. I use this in all 3 vehicals the wife and I have. Cheap, and works perfect. Some dashes don't have a good spot though, the Tacoma does.....;)

Yeah, I have that Mob-Armor mount on my dirt bike. Man it is awesome. Hands down, the best mount period. I had all the other popular mounts out there like RAM, etc. You can't beat an all aluminum mount. Very tough. I also added Velcro (NOT needed) to it, cuz the back of my phone case already has it for my dash mount. Most of my riding buddies now have it after seeing mine. I ride very tight trails, and my phone gets hit a lot with branches. It doesn't move. 100% safe. If you need a very sold mount for your phone, Mob Armor is the one to get. Its kinda overkill for in a vehical in my opinion.

I'm going to replace my magnetic one with one of these, the magnetic doesn't hold well when wheeling.

I think Mob Armor only has the magnetic and the bar clamp which is the one I have. So it may be the same. Look into it before you go out and buy it. I'm not sure how stong their magnet is. Like I said, I have the bar clamp one.

I'll play along @ThunderOne - here's what I have in my 2003 that doesn't have an airbag switch but a blank instead. A ProClip swivel mount for an iPhone 7+. Nice things about it: Super stable, phone doesn't budge unless I move it, camera actually peeks out over the dash which allows me to video things if I'm so inclined, has a lightning adapter attached directly through it to my Pioneer head unit so charging and USB based playing of music, etc is easy. No cables hanging around. Positioning is perfect for using it for nav (Waze ftw). The ProClip mount also allows me to rotate the phone to landscape easily or angle it so the passenger can use it. Downside: expensive.

    IMG_5857.jpg

Edit: This is NOT screwed into the dash panel (though it looks that way). I made a small base for the universal swivel mount that sandwiches it there so if I need to remove it and throw the blank back in it goes.

I think I'll get the RAM ball mount with short arm, and get the Scosche (sp?) magnet holder.

One question about the magnet holder, is it polarity specific? Or can it be stuck on at any orientation?
