This is a pretty much spot on assessment of these tires. I love mine and recommend them to everyone.

    Yes!

I put them through some torture tests this weekend, that's for sure. I was expecting them to be chunked and pretty much destroyed after this last outing. To my surprise they are holding up great! Some chunks here and there, but this trail was no joke... Add a trailer to the scenario and it made for an interesting and challenging day. It blew me away we climbed these trails while pulling a trailer that we came across out there.

It has an oiled K&N in it right now.. it came with it with the swap. I might stick with it.. no issues yet and filters better.

At the last minute, my weekend freed up... so hit up @Milota95 and of course he was down for a spur of the moment adventure camping trip. Packed up the truck real quick (times are getting faster!) and headed out to Q to get his trailer and hit the road! The plan was to head toward Apache Lake where we knew @snowtank and a few others were camped out, and hit some trails and do some shooting along the way.

    dat ass...

    IMG_20170408_123059.jpg

We found a little turn off Apache Trail.. headed down to see where it went. Quickly came to a fun little section that made it interesting with the trailer, and because of that.. decided to stop there for some shooting. I would love to try it again without and go a little further. It looked like it got even more washed out and off camber... something I just didnt want to do with Q's trailer in tow.

We turned around and continued on to the Lake where camp was. We arrived later afternoon and decided we hadnt had enough.. so out of camp we drove, to find another trail. We both knew there was a trail that went up and over the mountain from there at Apache, over to Roosevelt. Not far down the road, we turned left onto the trailhead. It started out fine, easy going and great views. There was a cool Corral we stopped at..

Once we started climbing the peaks and following the spines of the range.. the trail turned to steep, large loose rock, off-camber excitement! :headbang: 4L in L gear the truck was slowly but surely pullin itself and the trailer up the loose rocks. All 4 tire's were slippin and grippin :burnrubber: as it would grab and get traction on a solid section, and then lose traction in a run of loose rock. Not only that, but there were sections of decent off camber spots with ledges that would of been fun and somewhat challenging WITHOUT the trailer. These Cooper's are the shit... There's nothing else to say. No way would I have made some of these areas with the Toyo's... even without the trailer. 4wd needed for sure.

I may need to do the trailer mod... not only are they crazy convenient.. but fun as shit to wheel with. It's a whole new ball game requiring a different approach to Lines.

Before it got real crazy... and I was still aired up to 30 all around.. lol

Most of these steep sections are narrow, with no place to turn around, filled with loose rock and not to mention had steep drops on each side...

Once we got up the next couple climbs, I finally aired down..

    IMG_20170408_181641.jpg

We kept climbing, stopping, running ahead to take in the views and check the trail...

    IMG_20170408_184641.jpg

We didn't get a lot of pics or video of the steep, nasty sections.. but that's because we were legitimately trying to stay focused and make it up some of these climbs (and it was dark at this point). The same thing can be said for the return loop even.. maybe even more so. Turned out there was another trail that connected and made a loop from one of the Y's we passed in the beginning of the trail. was a perfect run.. took us about 6 hours or so (stopping regularly) and was probably 15-20 miles. ***But we also took an offshoot to check a potential camp spot.. and realized we drove down a sketchy section into a tight dead-end. So.. after a few new pinstripes and a LOT of attempts at getting us and the trailer turned around, we got back on track. Thanks to Q man again! Helping spot me and also let me stick it out to get it done. He could of knocked it out 27 tries sooner.  learned some good lessons.

We made it to camp around 11pm I think. We setup and passed out after a few beers with friends. Woke up and enjoyed the next day with good friends, some lake action, and cold brews. @The Fluffer came out for the day too. Twas a good day.. good Weekend!

Jesus dealing with URD is such a pain in the ass.. I've been going back and forth regarding the o2 sims failing on me... Which was fixed when I borrowed @05TacoRunner 's sims..

All I want is new sims.. preferably at a small discounted price since they failed.. out of warranty. but they just will not accept that their product failed. I've explained it numerous times, sent screenshots of codes, and told him exactly what I did to remedy the situation to allow me to pass emissions. USED A NEW SET OF SIMS... It's simple process of elimination.. what's so hard to understand.

I find in every industry if you are the only one in it you tend to do whatever you want and not really give a fuck about your customers, because where else will they go :notsure:
