It has the garage door/gate buttons on the mirror. Functionality wise, it is the same as the factory auto dim mirror, it just has additional buttons.

I like it because it is one less loose item in the interior. I've seen some thread bashing on why people spend money on these, and it comes down to cleanliness and convenience...the same way I have a smartphone, and don't carry a camera, a calendar, music player, a Thomas guide and a game boy around anymore ;)

    Next up: Hondo Garage knobs

Just get your caster adjusted forward to move away from the cab mount. I'm sure you have a couple of degrees to play with.

You might want to search the threads. I think 2.8-3 degrees was the max to stay in spec. I don't know what size tires or wheel offset you are running either. It could be that you might need to add/remove a wheel spacer too. I just have a fear of warranty violations by doing a cab mount chop. I am full on shadetree and not a suspension expert so do your homework. Usually a lift will tend to straighten geometry more vertical pulling the wheel back towards the cab mount.

As long as you have 3" lift you should be able to adjust it to work. That 0 offset kills the spacer thought. I am a huge fan of staying a little plus on offsets. Then you have the option of adding a spacer for a wider stance with the option of removing it if it causes problems. Does look good. It is hard for me searching wheels because so many only offer 0 or minus offsets. Most of my friends with Tacomas over the years had no issues with 3" lift. Most run 9" wide wheels. My preference is a little less diameter such as a 60 or 65 profile. That way you get the width without diameter clearance issues. Good luck.

It's pretty simple. I'm sure if you google compass mirror calibration you'll find what you need. You have to set your Zone and then put it into calibration mode. Drive around in a circle until it's calibrated. Surprised the mirror didn't come with a "how to" sheet.

Here's a YouTube video for both programming and calibration of that mirror
