What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

We have a catalytic recall? My truck is a 2012 also.

 

took delivery of some parts, I'm gonna have some wiring to do soon.

 

The recall is just for the 2.7.

 

Decided to make an adjustable light rack out of some extra parts in the garage and my new Harbor Freight POS welder, lol. Started with a prefabbed Smittybilt light rack for my old roof rack, added heims and some tabs. Picking up some 9" led rounds and a 12v electric actuator then I'll be set!

 

Yes 2.7L. I checked my VIN on the Toyota recall website hoping for new TSB leafs and had this done instead.

Not today, but Monday I Raptor lined my Mobtown skids and sliders. Put the skids on yesterday and going to put the sliders on Friday!

 

Well today I am a proud papa of an 08 Tacoma DCLB TRD. Shes snugged in tight with her brother (2013 Trail). I think they'll get along just fine.

 

I'm short so I installed 1.5" seat spacers in the back of the driver's seat. Much better!

Got some free glass from @MIKEDAM . They look like fiberwerx and have definitely seen better days but im not complaining, love projects.

Did some repair which isnt great but itll pass. Also painting them myself. One side is finished, hoping to have other side finished in next few days.

Yes, although the driver side still leans a bit even with the 1/4" spacer and I just filled up with gas. Those Toyo MT's are 32.3 inches tall also.
