I'm pretty sure they would, but why would you want to pay $250 to advertise for AP when you could just weld up $50 worth of steel? stickers are cheap

On mine it looks like it can, but there are no holes to mount up to. So you would have to drill them yourself. The sides of the bumper do stick out, but im not sure it it is the same amount to fit the bed sides

Update: if using this bumper for heavy recoveries, reinforce the front mounting points, replace hardware with 1/2 grade 8, and make/buy those wings that wrap around the side and bolt to Frame. Bumper holds up great against 12k winch, frame does not

That's weird. A cheap bumper that doesn't utilize all the correct and proven mount points. Say it ain't so.

I thought plate bumper's primary role was a male package enhancer?

Pretty sure the original AP bumper did this as well. Thought they started. Selling extra brackets or something.
    IIRC

You sir are mistaken about the integrity of the product. Most bumpers don't come with those wings, they are add ons. It also does tie in where the sway bar mounts and there is full plate wrapped around the cross member. I will reiterate the point that I made: the frame is not strong enough in the front. Even with the tie ins I would suggest plating the mounting locations, doesn't matter what bumper you have.

Not that you actually care I know your just here to :stirthepot:

    You're correct about :stirthepot:

In other news my frame remains unbent after many recoveries.

Boy I'd sure hate to have an 8k winch when I'm stuck in a spot that requires 12k of pull....

Please tell us more about what the Tacoma is and isn't "rated" for

You could also get a 20,000 pound winch wedged on to the truck, but just like having more horse power than your drive train can handle, the chances of breaking something increases.
