Opps..Houston, we have a problem. Possible solutions:

    1. Switch to synthetic cable and hope the diameter difference makes up for the problem.
    2. Make the hole in the bumper wider
    3. Shim the winch up with washers

    hmm...

First of all congrats on the license! No bear trapping in the states, except Maine! I am jealous. Keep me posted on your progress.

And, yup, those are the 235s. They look wider in that shot I think.

ARB deflater = bad ass deflation. Your tires are aired down with a large gush and you stand there looking at the other guys still pissin out air and your like, 'Yeah thats how I roll.'

Hahaha no way. It's on a truck, I will make them dirty if I want to take a picture LOL.

On another note, can you use the arb deflator as just a tire pressure gauge? I would assume that's the case

Ya know, I am not sure... I have always just screwed it on and taken out the valve stem. From there you can check for sure. I'll screw with it tomorrow and see if you can check without taking out the stem.

Think you'll need a combination of all three. The synthetic line will probably be the same diameter, but the weight savings and safety improvement will be a nice bonus.
You might have to take a dreamil and open up the slot a bit, for a spacer I say mock up with washers for a temp fix and then long term get a full plate that raises it up and has the holes that line up with the winch

OK, I am a total idiot! In looking at the situation, I noticed that the smittybilt fairlead had a second set of holes for the bolts. I flipped the fairlead upside down and put the bolts through that hole and now it works like a charm! It pulls the roller up just enough to keep the cable off of the metal bumper. The simplest is usually the right one lmao!

But then I gotta register it, have it inspected and pay the insurance for it...along with all that plus the payments for Streaky. Also I would need to lift it to throw on 35s lol
