Thanks! It's getting there. I missed out on about a month of driving it last summer because I went through it and replaced the brake lines, brakes on all 4 corners, and pretty much the whole front suspension. Tightened it up considerably, though, so it was worth it.

    o_O

100,000 is pretty easy to attain for really any vehicle that's driven regularly these days, barring an accident or something.

No kidding. My neighbor has 200k on a 5 year old F-150. Heck my Jeep Cherokee has 225,000 miles on the original 4.0 and AW4 auto tranny..

Yep. I've owned multiple vehicles with close to or better than 200K on them. My '99 Tacoma had 186k on it when Toyota bought it back. Had a 99 Frontier with 175k, a '96 Nissan Hardbody with 190k, a '96 Cherokee with 178k, a '93 Grand Cherokee with 210-something, a '96 Ranger with 170-something, a Honda Civic with 225k, and my first truck was an '87 Nissan with 286k. These are all mileages from when I sold them, and every single one of them was still running and driving on the road when I sold them. :notsure:

I test drove a F150 with ecoboost and it was fast as hell for a truck. I may get one someday when the Taco gives up, but that will probably be a while.

This pic does not look right. Is the 32 photo shopped in there ? It is too small or is way in the background .
    Nice trucks though .

they just don't make em as small as the once did, not to mention we are way bigger now than we once were. I don't think its photo shopped

No, this is the actual pic. They really are that small! The truck is slightly behind the 78 and 14 though

Size scale seems accurate. The '32 looks like it is parked behind the other two, but not by that much. Trucks didn't used to be land barges, lol.
Most of the Model A's and B's had a 106" wheelbase, I think. By comparison, my F150 has a wheelbase of 145 inches, and much longer overhangs.

The service manager at Wolfe Chase Toyota told me that Ford is the only American manufacturer that is almost as good as Toyota in terms of quality. I will say that I worked on a farm growing up...70-80's. Ford's were better hands down. Tow more, carry more, better off road and got better mpg than all of my dad's Chevy owners. IMO. I had two Ranger pick ups... Absolutely loved them. I wish Ford had NEVER built the Explorer Sport Track and given the 4 doors to the Ranger instead. Toyota took over the market after Ford stopped making the Ranger. I really wanted to buy an F-150 but they were just too expensive and it wouldn't fit in my garage.

My parent's drive Fords and I had a Ranger in high school, never any big issues.

Every single used 5-10 year old Ford FS we trade for at our dealership has rust in the rear cab corners. Chevy's are the worst followed closely by Dodge. I don't care how many miles they run or how fast, the bodies can't take the midwestern winters. I've yet to see a 10 year old Toyota with any rust whatsoever unless it had a bad body repair. Some of you don't know how good you have it.
