    OK I may be completely.over looking the obvious does the truck have to locking capability to begin with. I thought it was a automatic feature in 4x4lo but I guess if my truck had it I would have a switch for it

    You do not have a locker and cannot perform the grey wire mod. Start reading around to learn more about your truck and what you can do with it.

    By tons I mean I've spent weeks researching before asking this stupid question. I assumed my 4x4 had the locking ability in 4lo didn't realize TRD only offered it. If I could delete the thread I would thanks

    I just did. Boy I sure feel stupid wasting all the time on the gray wire mod lol on to the next mod...

    The only stupid question is the one not asked... but yep, you got to have a factory locker to have a locker anytime mod performed. ;) Keep on four wheeling... and if you need more traction... DEFLATE THE TIRES!
