    You can look into Kings Grant neighborhood I live in that one it's quiet majority of the homes are over 2,000 square feet and they are going pretty cheap in my neighborhood as well

    If I'm looking at the right place on the map, that's out closer to Ladson/Summerville correct? If so, that's a little farther out than we really want to be. We really liked downtown Summerville, but since I'll be based out of north Charleston, and my wife will likely be in a similar situation, if not working downtown, that'd be a pretty far daily commute.

    I always say that I love to drive, but hate to commute, which is why I try to live really close to work. Grew up just outside of Washington DC, where my 16 mile commute could take 2.5 hours if I left a half hour late.

    I try to limit my commute to 15 minutes typically, but am realistically shooting to keep it to 40 minutes, should I have to drive in peak rush hour

    Very lucky. I pay $115 less per month for this place versus my old place and I'm now in a very very nice area. The other unit across the hall was rented in less than 24 hours last week.
