Yeah that is true. Or worse, the guys who start vaping just to blow clouds then end up addicted to nicotine. That's just stupid.

I had to find a vape that gave me enough of a throat hit so that I felt like I was actually smoking before it worked. My first one lasted a couple months at most. This one has got me to just about quit smoking hookah too, which wasn't at all the intention haha

They are targeting kids with it too which IMO should make it much more regulated. Why else would they have flavors like cotton candy and grape?

 

I use an old PS3(wifi) upstairs and a PS4(hardwired) in the family room for psvue, Netflix, Amazon. Both work just fine. We've got a fire stick in the kitchen on a small wall mounted TV and it's so so. Sometimes it'll stream PS Vue, sometimes it's super choppy, sometimes it won't work at all. I've heard the Fire TV boxes are much better on wifi than the stick though.

Well I'm not a fan of those super sugary flavors, but I can see why people want them. Why not vape something tasty? Most cig smokers don't actually like the taste of cigs, they just get used to them over time. I'm not sure desert/candy flavors means that they are targeting kids though. Adults like candy just as much as kids do!

I vape a fruit and mint blend. Nothing too sugary for me.

I used to dip a tin a day for 5 or 6 years. 2 years ago I started dipping this nicotine free Mint Chew that is made in Beverly. After using that for 6 months, I stopped and haven't dipped anything for the last year and a half! No tobacco for about 2 years.

I think the alternatives work, just gotta know when to stop using the alternative as well.

I vaped for a good year solid, and it got me to stop smoking but the problem is you can get twice as addcited to nicotine than you were before. They say 10 draws off a vape with 18 percent juice is equiv. to smoking an entire average light cigarette. So you can get 24% juice and pull on it for 10 minutes and you've got the equiv. of 10 cigarettes in you. Being that nicotine is more physically addictive than heroin and I'd say that using a vape to quit smoking is foolish.

 

Plus vapor in your lungs, good way to possibly get pneumonia

Not that I am aware of. You would need an HD antenna to your TV to get the local stations. Biggest reason I haven't 'cut the cord' yet.

 

Yeah I have friends who got more addicted to nicotine after switching to vape or nicotine gum. I switched and immediately started at 6mg, which is mid to low. I've never moved up, and I will probably move down to 3mg with my next order.

Yeah, same with actual smoke. The way I look at it is that inhaling anything besides air is unhealthy. Vaping isn't some magic healthy way to get nicotine, but it's a hell of a lot better than smoking cigs.

 

I've always wondered about what could potentially happen by constantly inhaling vapors.
