Yep, the house is pretty rough, but I have free reign to make any improvements I want. 900sq ft two story house. My rent is about half of what a cheap one bedroom apartment costs in Austin, and I'm only 45 minutes away from downtown. Essentially I got this deal to help out a nice older gentleman who has some health issues. He lives about a quarter mile down the road. He walks, talks, and goes fishing on the reg. So compared to wrestling shit/vomit covered k2 smokers at work...this is easy.

Edit: I'm west of Austin in Spicewood, Texas.

 

hahahahaha, you can get down to the house in a 2wd truck now that they fixed the road a bit, but when it rains, I wouldn't attempt to get near the house.

Heres what I plan on doing possibly before wheels and bigger tires to my bed:
Modtown off road bed accesories (litterally all of them)
Kb voodoo bed metal bid side rail replacements
bedside reinforcements aka "bottle opener"
and id also really like to get a low profile bed rack, kinda like all pro's just sleeker

 

After seeing many of those parts on @ChadsPride's truck last weekend and realizing that the metal tailgate skin cap would be a perfect table for my stove, i ordered it.

 

Call them. You certainly qualify, and they beat the crap out of the best policy we had from State Farm.

I've got a concrete driveway, but 4wd is recommended to get out of it.

 

I've thought about trying to create a drop-down table for the back of my tiregate... dunno.

 

Seems like it would be fairly easy, weld or bolt some hinges onto tiregate and then to the table top, then mount some wire as like limiting straps for lack of a better term

 

Yeah, I've even considered something less permanent. I could do it pretty easy with some plexiglass and cabling. I'd only need it big enough for my 2-burner propane stove.

 

also theres some fab company either cbi or all pro or pelfrey that makes one but its hella expensive
