It was amazing, was so nice not having cell service and just taking it all in without distractions.

Did not want to come back and go back to reality and work. I sat on the porch last night and the night before just trying to stay away from it all.

    Come alive thread!!!

    Geez...

New battery in the truck after throwing down $152 at the dealer... that has just opened up an entire new can of worms on the truck in trying to figure a couple things out.

Side note.... Fate of the Furious tonight at 7PM!

Brute Force Fab standard rear bumper should be here by next Friday!

Hoping to get some tires mounted up the Friday after that

    Sliders are "being PC'd"

Very nice! I would love to do a rear bumper... but I think I am going to save for a Fridge, another Awning for the side, and a Hardshell RTT to put on the cab and move what I have on the cab to the shell.

After Big Bend... I really want a Fridge for the truck for trips like that.

Yep. After dealing with Ice and Dry Ice while at Big Bend... Just became frustrating. An actual 50qt Fridge would let me use the entire 50qt of space for food and drinks instead of the RTIC.

Would end up making a platform to mount in the backseat after removing the passenger side seat completely.

Really want to try and see about getting an Autohome RTT since they are more Aero than regular RTTs.

Was not so lucky... trying to get it sorted out though. Long ordeal on it though and waiting to figure it all out before I try to explain.

Front Bumper and Rear bumper are things that people see first. They are also things that may not get abused as much as say sliders and skids. With PC you are going to have a smooth finish that looks professional, even, no runs, etc.

My front bumper after multiple washes, driving, bugs, etc. Still looks like I picked it up yesterday from my coater. My sliders though... they look faded and crappy, but those I don't care about since they are meant to get used and abused and I can just touch them up here and there when needed.

But for the money you spend on a rear bumper... spend the extra and get it PC and have a bumper that looks damn nice and wont look faded and such after 6 months in the Texas sun.

Trust me, if you Spray the rear yourself... you will want to get it PC after a while.

It's hard to get even spray in something that large. Plus that's a main focal point on your truck. Sliders will get scrapes etc from everyday use and can touch up easily.

Right on, thanks for the explanation!

How much should I expect to pay to PC a standard rear bumper?
