    Hey guys,
I need some help I installed my iPad into my dash. Now I need my back up camera so I bought a rearview mirror backup camera. I want to tap into the existing camera that was attached to my stereo. I need to know which wires to cut into to splice into it. Anyone can tel me which wires and where on my radio they were. I didn't have the upgraded stereo. The picture shows the ipad I put in. Please help

Wait wait wait. You put an iPad in there? How. I need pictures. I need this.

How are you going to get the video feed to overtake the iPad's screen when in reverse?

I posted the pic above I can show it broken down for you. I didn't figure out how to use the ipad for back up. So I bought the back up rearview mirror. I need to know if anyone knows which wire is video that plugged into the old head unit and which one is the reverse power.

Some pics I'll give more later. Any help on the wire diagram or insight would be great

Interesting. So did you just put the iPad in front of the radio? How's it secured before you put the trim back on?

You may want to read through this thread to get some wiring help.

Yes I did. I could of bought a aftermarket stereo but there was enough room. I made brackets to secure it. It's in between the trim and the other piece there. It was a perfect fit. Then I added some rubber stripping so the pressure was cushioned against the ipad.

Thanks everyone I got it working took me forever cause I didn't realize the one wire I had to cut into also powered my blue tooth. Had it all back together to just realize something was wrong. Never the less five hours later and a bunch of red Bulls it works like a charm.
