Barstow Wheeling - Saturday 3/6/10

a group of us are heading out to Barstow for a day of wheeling, testing, and photos...

you so cal heads are more than welcome to roll with us...

 

i'll try to make it - i think that I got the weekend off of work next week

 

cool... i will get the details up by wednesday...

 

Plan so far is to meet up at the usual McDonalds off Sierra on the I-15 at 9am...

Sierra is the 2nd exit north of the 210...

We will then head straight to Barstow Main (off Outlet Center Drive) and get there about 10am...

We will be in the area wandering around, shaking down our suspensions, testing new shock settings, and shooting some footage...

The region is prerunner friendly, and you don't have to be long travel to kick it... We welcome everyone, the usual crowd and would like to meet some new folks...

Don't be shy... Don't be scared... Come out and enjoy the great desert scenery...

We will be on race radio 151.625 and I will try to monitor the CB on channel 22...

this meet is officially cancelled...

we will be working on the trucks to prep for the big race on 3/20....

 

How does engage usually do in these races?

 

ya know, we havent raced in 2 seasons...

Jerry is an aggressive but technical driver though... Danny's truck was sabotaged his last race so the motor is being rebuilt... James' truck is a beast but he works so much, he hasn't had time...

We were hoping to get Jerry entered into the 3/20 race, but may have to push it to the big ORAF night race in May...

Until then, we make as many weekend desert runs as possible to tune the race and chase trucks...

For now, the main race truck for Engage is up and running... Jerry is just breakin her in...
