I agree, I had a "high definition" security camera setup (nothing insanely fancy, under $1000 I believe). One of them was pointed at the door. I could successfully tell there was a "taller white man wearing jeans and a t-shirt" at my door and that was about it.

Unless the police are familiar with the person or they have very defining characteristics, it's tough. You could also help build a case if multiple people capture video, but there's definitely no CSI "ENHANCE" feature.

 

Wait, I'm from tx... so excuse my ignorance. But how and why is peeing on walls a huge epidemic in SF? Is it a homeless problem or one of those you kinda just chalk up to it being california?

 

So thats why there is a public urination problem? I live in austin and theres a bunch of fucking homeless people to, but there isn't a "public urination epidemic"

 

Do they walk out of public to urinate?

 

I assume they just use some public bathrooms or something? I've never seen a homeless person peeing anywhere in plain view in all of metro austin and I've lived there for years.

Thats pretty funny that the city is investing money in creative ways to combat the problem.

Doesn't sound like you've been to SF. They for sure are not smoking pot, that's way to classy, and they are doing a lot more than pissing on the walls. Our basement ventilation ducks get plugged with Dime bags regularly, and they are moving hundreds of thousands of CFM

I can vouch. My brother used to work construction in SF. He has some stories with similar players and themes...

 

Ha! Nope lived in SF for 15yrs, the homeless pee/poo wherever and whenever they please, including in the Bart train stations in front of dozens of passerbys. SF contracted with a French company called JCdecaux to install self cleaning public bathrooms (locks itself up after use and water/ steam cleans the interior) which quickly became places for drug users and hookers to do their business. They are largely shuttered now.

 

Tax money well spent

 

The price per toilet was astronomical and the contract to service them was equally outrageous.

 

They'll just pee at an angle.

 

No offense but SF sounds like a mess
