Pretty much par for the course. The wife's was well over triple that for sure

 

I thought $10k for a dress was about where your average price starting point was

...or I have expensive friends lol

 

I can tell you what our total wedding cost and we didn't skimp on anything. Most of you sound like you might be surprised at how little it was

 

Guess it's a good thing I'm ugly.

 

I likely wouldn't be surprised. We paid for most of our own wedding costs and did a lot of searching to find good deals. Our family members thought were spent triple what we actually did. Same thing, we didn't skimp on anything, we had a great time, nice venue, open bar and great food.

 

The dress I want I've found for 4k used. But I don't know how I feel about used wedding gowns. Not that I'm in danger of getting hitched any time soon

 

My wife got hers at some place in Watertown I think. There was a TV show about it or something. Anyways it's all designer dresses that were like display models or something. Hers would have been like $15k if bought from the designer,I want to say it was like $8-9k with alterations.

Not quite sure, but it looked fucking hot as hell on her

 

Yeah I remember coming across that show and being like "those people sound funny"

 

Don't know about thumbs up, but her dad payed for it as a quasi wedding gift to her so I was fine with it

 

That's even more deserving of a thumbs up!

Him backing into the tree was fucking hilarious 3 of us hit trees that day. Maybe even 4. I smashed in my A-pillar and fender, Chris and Josh smashed tail lights, and I think Jared got some ouch too..

I forgot about that! hahahahaha

 

I was thumbs upping the wife looking hot in the dress not the price that was paid. Lol

I had a minivan TRY to play chicken today and they "backed-up" the full length of tractor and trailer DO NOT CUT an Old Man off when he is 70' long and in a BRIGHT Orange Peterbilt Blinking your head lights and raising your hands gets two reactions; I grabbed a few gears and then waved back ....

 

I'll guess my wedding was one of the cheapest here. $1000 for everything..and I may be a little high on that number
