are you sure you have to get CMC? there are plenty of people that dont need it w/ 285s... I'm going to test fit mine after the lift goes on and see where all I am rubbing..... I'm only going to cut my truck up if I absolutely have to.

but if its just on plastic fender liner(s), then I'm just going to take a heat gun to them and reshape them, and what I cant reshape, I'll cut

 

Might as well CMC. I didn't need it, but when I fully stuff the front, i do. I rub in the front here.

I guess I won't know if I need it until I slap the tires on there. I'm hoping that even if I do need it that I would still be able to drive around town without rubbing too much.

Yea, I cant stand any rubbing (even a little) lock to lock.... I had to trim quite a bit of the fender liner of the 4Runner because it was driving me up a wall.... rubbing tires is like nails on a chalkboard to me haha

Ah that makes sense...I would be quite cautious driving if I had rubs when off roading. You need to CMC man!

 

it doesnt rub all the time. And its just the cab mount. Im not worried or rushing. Its only at full stuff, which rarely happens

 

Still would get me nervous at speed.

 

thats why I dont speed off road. And there is no room. It only hits the cab mount. Nothing wrong with that

you'll just come out of Home Depot and there will be someone just finishing up your CMC for you

Doubt it, scary half has me this weekend.

If i find the right paint today I may knock out the bedside reinforcements tomorrow.

 

I have some spray paint.. if you want some help. I also have the Torx sockets for the bed bolts. I am off tomorrow, so I can help, if you want to come by.
