My lovely local stealership messed up trying to drill holes for the plate mount. The large factory mount sat crooked and drove me nuts. After a year of trying to get them to replace the black "chin" I have found an option I like even better. It covers up their mistake and is low profile too. I opted to paint my bars black so it would blend in better. I'm sure the rocks will chip away at it but by then I'll find something else to obsess about. $40 seemed a little high at first. However, this is well made and better than any option I could find. Definitely worth it. IMG_5106.jpgIMG_5109.jpg IMG_5110.jpgIMG_5111.jpg IMG_5115.jpgIMG_5117.jpg

Thanks for the kind words and for the pictures. I think one of the hardest things to do in trying to sell these brackets is to convey how sturdy they are to someone who can't hold the product in their hand and touch and see it for themselves. I appreciate you and everyone else who has purchased a bracket for taking a leap of faith by purchasing the bracket unseen.

I'm having the opposite problem, guy who owned the truck before me got one that he had to cut into the bumper for and I wish he hadn't. Gonna have to be there until I get a winch I guess

For what it is worth, the bracket with the license plate on it will cover up where the holes are drilled in the bumper cover. I am not sure how extensive the damage is that they guy did. I would also think you could just replace that piece of the bumper, maybe from an online parts wholesaler?

Not worth it, I'll live with it until the winch

So unless you are running a front plate that promotes a favorite team, sport, product, etc, then you do not even need a front plate.

Got it. I did sell a bracket to a guy in North Carolina who was promoting his favorite college. (Not Auburn)

Yeah, maybe I can sell it to somebody when I get the winch. That might be a while though, I just ordered 285/75-16 Cooper s/t maxx tires, some new 16x8 race line raptor wheels with 4.5" backspacing, a total Chaos uca, and a stage 2 icon lift lol
