Ya that's why I said the other day that I thought something was up. He looked like he tweaked his groin in the NJ game, but stayed in. But they didn't dress him the final 2 games and never sent Jarry back down after those games. So I think they knew it was possible that he could get hurt again.

I know they won't and for good reasons but I'd love to see Matthews with the C on to start the game. Get him fired up, he seems to thrive under pressure.

I caught about half of it. The Oilers had some great moments. But they played like a team that hasn't been in the Post Season for 11 years. Whereas the sharks (even though they've not played well recently) played like a team that has played +/- 160 Playoff games in those 11 years (I can't remember the exact number I heard).
The Oilers will need to bring up the intensity and desperation levels - big time. The sharks did that last night....and the final score reflected it.

 

The first 5 minutes the oil were looking like a first time playoff team. Then they took it to the sharks. Then by half way through the second the Sharks turned it up and showed them what a playoff team looks like.
O well, guess it will take more than 16 games for the Oils first cup on their dynasty!
