Cool, Ryobi seem to be the best bang for the buck and what I was leaning towards too.

That's what I've read as well. $129 with free shipping including the battery and charger. Not to shabby

Where did you get it from? I have the craftsman, which I've liked but only 200ft lbs. Found it a bit lacking in certain instances.

Home Depot. The $129 takes longer to charge(1 hour I think). The $179 is 30 minutes. It's rated at 300ft-lbs.

Nice, I just got a Ryobi weed whacker so I might try to go with them and use the same batteries.

Definitely. One of the nice things about those batteries.

I'm sticking with ryobi myself and like them so far. They're a great mid level company for the non professional users. I've got their drill and sawzall and both do great.

Planning out Lindsay and my trip out east.

I think right now we are planning on hitting Havasu, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Dallas, Little Rock, Nashville, Atlanta, then SC.

Anybody got other suggestions or fun stuff on the way?

Asheville sucks but has great food.

Crowder Mountain was a great hike, on that side of the state.

The drive is going to suck until you hit Arkansas, then Tennessee will make you think you're in love again with America. Enjoy the Blue Ridge mountains when you drive through, the southeast is a great place.

El Malpais near Grants, NM. Really cool lava flow with fun hikes. Free BLM campground too. Bandelier is cool, but probably too far out of the way. White Sands is a fun place, but again probably too far off the route.

ABQ sucks. Sorry to anyone from NM, but it does.
