Bring your external hard drive or flash drive to mod day. I bought my mother an iMac and she never used it so she gave it back which means we have a working computer there to look stuff up with.

 

I wish I could make it down to a mod day... I have a lot to do and need help.

Have you guys ever heard of anyone breaking u-bolts on the trail before? My old ones are not in great shape after putting in the Dakars. I ordered a u-bolt flip kit with bumps from wheelers and they didn't have any specs on the u-bolts. After looking at the invoice I could figure it out. 1/2" grade 5. I'm not terribly excited about this but wanted to see if it's even worth replacing.

 

Its always recommended to replace U-bolts every time you remove them as the torque does stretch them a bit.

 

Thanks! What about the size? Anyone braking u-bolts?

 

Have never broke any on a wheeling rig.

 

I have only heard of one person braking a u bolt but it was a co worker on a old ford, said he kept hearing clunking like a u joint but couldnt figure it out until he finally noticed one side u bolt was missing and other was loose.

I usually just check the threads on them for stretching
