From what I've heard Toyota revised the bearing for the 05 to 15s but supposedly the revised version was already installed in the 16/17s. Not sure how accurate that is, just what I've heard.

Same old bearing. Had mine changed at 350 miles. Then after another 150 miles it started again. I told dealer about ECGS bushing so they ordered and installed it no charge. Now they stock the ECGS bushing.

Yes, dealer installed, 2.5 front, 2 rear. Came on truck when new. Running 275/70/17. That's why covered under warranty

I just rented a set from AutoZone. It's free if you return it before 90 days. The smallest disk fits the bushing perfectly.

I was gonna say you have an awesome service dept if they did that for a lift you put on. Still pretty good of them all my dealer did was rotate my tires and sent me on my way.

Just finished my bushing install. Took just under 3 hrs. longest part was pouring the damn diff lube through a funnel with a hose attached to it that stuff is thick.

There is a replacement Needle Bearing from a TSB but it has the same issues as the OEM (original factory installed) needle bearing. There are plenty of reports of folks with 2nd gen getting their needle bearing replaced with the "TSB version" which I believe they say is slightly elongated, but it ends up failing too.

The real long term solution is this ECGS 8" bushing.

Put a 2" lift on my 2016 and got the vibes. Tested it out and they went away in 4-Hi.

Just finished installing the bushing and she's smooth as could be now.

Fair enough but if there is a TSB and a number handy that gives me a leg to stand on when I go in for next service and raise the issue.
