You've entered the thread of smart asses.

Jack, also known as Jake lives somewhere in that mess most people call the Denver metro area.

If you have 33,000 patches on your ceiling, your order will be expedited.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

Don't quite get the 33k patches comment but... I haven't be around the forum for very long. Here's hoping I'm a quick study.

Comcast doesn't even cover our complex- went with TDS and picked up cable television... big timer now. I haven't been able to watch a sports game or the news for far too long.

But let's be honest, at the end of the day they all provide mediocre service with foreign call centers and the utmost disrespectful customer service. Whattayado.

Yes, but it depends on how much effort you want to put into it. A simple friendly conversation is the best way to start of course. If there's reluctance or no stepping up, you might suggest it should be covered under his homeowner's (renter's?) insurance. After that, you would look at your (or rather her) auto insurance, and should you file a claim they may go after him for damages. And you can always take him to small claims court yourself, if you want to go through with that. You've already taken pictures, but make sure you document everything in case you decide to do this - like when you talk to him and however many times, and you should jot down notes or a summary of what was said right after while it's fresh in your mind.

Edit: Oh, and do not threaten to take him to court. Don't even mention that. If things get to that point and you take him to court, first he should hear about it is when he's served. And at this point it should be pretty obvious how good a neighbor you're going to have in the future. Decade long feuds have started over less.
