Why would you want to remove it?!
Serially, I never thought of that option, points to you C, I was only thinking of better adhesion...

    Not Enough.
I know I'm late to the party, but I'm planning on going Blue Sea. I'm pretty sure as OCD as I am about wiring, I can make it pretty enough for me to live with.

    Dipped mine. Twice.

Pro tip for you... Since you're going to already have the bumper off, take the time to pull the plastic pads off. I dipped mine on the truck and tried to tape them off. First round the tape was wrapped under the plastic pad (because I'm from a family of painters, and that's how you do it), not realizing that PlastiDip doesn't follow ANY of the rules of paint. So when I peeled the tape, I peeled the dip. So, second time, I left a half inch section of plastic showing, sprayed the shit out of it, and it actually peeled off the plastic and cut at the seam, just like advertised.

If I would have had the bumper off the truck, I just would have popped the pads off and went to town.

Also, medium see through coat, another medium coat after that, then pretty much just hose the shit on just to the point that you get nervous about it running (again, relatively speaking compared to paint). I waited about 10 minutes between coats. Thicker is better, and makes it way easier to peel when the time comes. Because it will eventually.

Also, whenever you do it, hit me up. If I'm free, I can ride down and lend a hand.

Yes. You'd connect the 12V power and the reverse 12V to the same hot wire on the light. But put a diode in the wire going to the reverse light. Simple, easy, and what I'm going to do with my new one eventually. Once I get it. And get it installed. And then get time.

Also, before I make a FS post, anyone need some factory fogs? These things have been sitting on the shelf since I got the ARB. Used, decent shape, one has slight hazing but not completely hazed over.

Thanks for the offer, I will definitely take you up on it as soon as I get everything sorted. I need to get the bumper, lights, and one new plastic pad from the dealer to replace a damaged one from my original. I've got a pretty decent jigsaw and some files to make he cutouts for lights.

No worries. As of right now, I've got weekend stuff going on this weekend all weekend, going to the truck and tractor pull in Miller's Tavern next Saturday night (which is awesome, and not too far from you, if you wanted to check it out), and then might be (probably will be) in the OBX the weekend after that. But so far I think May is pretty free, except I really want to go camp up in the GWNF one weekend before it gets stupid hot. I really need to slow down sometime...

It can get nicks or tears in it. I cought an edge on mine with the power washer and it started to peel. Or it gets dingy looking and you want to freshen it up ( I have a cure for that also) so you just peel off the old and re spray it. Rt on the truck no need to take back off. It also acts as a good chip guard against rocks

If you get the same type of lights I did they are square pods. I used a die grinder with a cut off wheel for n it to make a square cut
