840hp is the most HP in a production car? Who is that moron trying to kid.

It's one hell of an engine, that's for sure, and the body is the best retro looking of all the modern "retros", but that chassis is total shit.

No, about 350 is plenty for a taco.
I'd be more interested in toyota releasing the truck aluminum rather than HP. 500lbs plus saved on this truck would be incredible.

I'm not much of a Chrysler fan, but I think it's really damn cool that they went all out and built such a purpose-driven, balls to the walls drag car that you can theoretically daily drive if you wanted. Kudos to them for not holding back.

It's a Dodge with a big engine, but still a Dodge! Have you owned a Dodge? I have, never again.

Regardless of who made it: this car exist now. All the other makers have to catch up and will be compared to it.

    Power wars! We all win.

Just curious why do you think the Chassis is total Shit, seems to have pretty incredible performance figures?
    0-60 - 2.3 Seconds
    1/4 - 9.65 Seconds
    60-0 - 97 Feet
    Skidpad over 1G

Why? Do you really need to go 0-60 under 3 seconds and use 100 octane gas? Or is it Dodge trying to say "To shit with quality, we have the fastest even though it only lasts 50,000 miles". Boost the shit out of it so it only lasts a few miles, sounds like F1 mentality.

I've long said, making a piece of shit fast does not change the fact that it's a piece of shit.

Sure but this a production car with a warrenty. So trickle down technology. It's good. They are pushing boundaries.

I.e. Turbos in the 80s vs turbos today.
