Most of this will be updated once I get back stateside, as I have quite a pile of new goodies for her.

I almost kept the promise to myself with this one. Went almost a full year without adding/modding anything. I had to have my tunes though! So kept it simple, small, and functional. 500 watt Kicker, 2 Kicker CVT 8's, ported box behind the rear seat, and just a step-down on the stock head unit. A few months later I fell back into the mall crawler crap. 20" KMC chrome Badlands wrapped in 265/75 Coopers. Naturally this rubbed on everything it seemed, so I had to chop the frame for those stupid tires! Spacer lift front and rear, OMG. Slapped some window tint on her and called it good for the next few years.

    20080807
: Purchased with just 7 miles on her
    $30,499
    4x4, TRD Sport

20090615: 500.1 Kicker amp, 2 Kicker CVT 8s, Ported box
20091113: 20" KMC wheels wrapped in Cooper Zeon LTZ
    BRO WHEELS!

20091117: Spacers and blocks for looks and to stop some rubbing
    20100214: 20% window tint
20110502: Did a retrofit in some eBay housings, it was fine for a while, but I know I can do better and they constantly leaked somewhere, so I put the OEM ones back on and will do a quality retrofit later on

Stayed this way for a while, then

    20120117: Joined the USAF
First station Tucson, AZ. Being Louisiana born and raised it was always mud riding and hunting. 4wheelers and mud trucks. Never had mountains, rocks, or trails. So I was very interested and needed to get involved and I loved the look and functionality of these types Tacomas I had never seen in person.
I met up with @TRON_ and a few other guys on here. So some changes were DESPERATELY needed!

20130317: Iron Bull front and rear plate bumpers, Iron Cross side steps, and full OME lift, 887 coils and Dakars

All of this was installed by me and an awesome group of guys in Tucson, AZ on the TW boards.
20130711: Lowes Kobalt black slimline toolbox
20130815: Finally grabbed an OEM rack from a member here
20130901: Grabbed a BSP grille from a member and did my Homer Raptor Satoshi

I was still on the stupid 20" wheels and "all terrains" but it was a start.

    20140702: Orders to Korea
This whole time I was planning out the next set of mods.

2015 sometime: I got in on some group buys, All-Pro UCA group buy and a 42.5" Radius LED light bar

20150811: Back from Korea, moving to California now.
Before I leave I need to install my new UCAs and fab brackets for my lighter between the OEM rack.
20150825: Start the journey from LA to CA with a uHaul. Made a week trip out of it. Stopped at all the "Breaking Bad" houses in Albuquerque, Route 66, Big Bend at the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas strip, Golden Gate Bridge, downtown San Fran, then finally just North of Sacramento.

Detailed. Polished, waxed and sealed ;)

Since then a little bit has happened, but now the real mods are coming.
Being deployed has its advantages, but disadvantages as well.

KING front 2.5 EXT 700lb springs
    KING 12" 2.0 - ordered
BAMF rear shock relocate brackets - ordered
    SCS RAY10 Bronze 17" wheels
    SS brake lines - ordered
13WL Tundra brake upgrade - purchased calipers, caliper rebuild kit required
    New rotors
    Spideratrax spacers
New hub assemblies from a TW member
    FarNorthDesign bed decals - ordered
CBI ditch light brackets - ordered
LED pods (3 pair) - ordered
RTMR Aux box, mounting plate, Iggys switch plate - installed
Flush gear oils, brake fluid, coolant, and maybe transmission
Still deciding between Cooper ST MAXX 255/80 or STT PRO 285/75

Also hoping that by the end of this year I will be ready to order a Brute Force front armor, Brute Force HC standard (maybe spare tire swing out) along with some Brute Force kick out sliders

I am sure there is a ton of stuff that I am missing. But pictures will soon follow as I upload them in and plug them in their corresponding spots.

TW is a lifestyle and I would not change anything. I am always down to lend a hand, tag along, or just share experiences. Even though TW is constantly costing me money!!!!

Some random pictures along the way, messed with filters and saturation way too much haha

    Debadged and polished out

Another detail. I love washing my truck, scratches do not bother me as much anymore since I am using my truck a lot more for truck stuff. But I still take care of her.
CHEMICAL GUYS, thats all I am going to say about that

Still trying to patiently await the call from Billy at Brute Force for my armor. I know MOAB is going on and how crazy busy he has been.

I did get my "Far North By Design" bed side decals put on today. Considering I have had them for probably a year now

Small update, but trying to keep busy while the last bit of my new armor is being finished.

I'm swapping to 2012+ 4Runner 14WA brakes. Bigger caliper and I'm going with some StopTech slotted rotors. I was going to go with black, but I seen the ford blue and thought it would be a close match to my new KING suspension and blue brake lines. If I don't like them on the truck I'll paint them black

Supposedly this Sunday Ill be making the trip down to Billys shop in Clovis to pickup all of my new armor.

Brake swap is all ready to go on with new wheel bearings.
    KING suspension is ready.
Also trading a guy for a set of 4" Deaver leaf packs for my old bumpers.
SCS RAY10s as well as my ST MAXX are ready with new TPMS sensors

I emailed Dynabeads to see how many ounces Id need to run in a 255/80R17, they said 6 ounces per and TPMS is ok to run with it as well. Debating on trying out the beads or not we shall see

Mod day Aug 19 in Sacramento I should be super super busy installing a lot of these parts as well as painting all of my new goodies

17" SCS RAY10s and 255/80R17 Cooper ST MAXX now installed. So far I love the ride and they don't pull to the right as much as everyone says. My alignment will be redone after I install the KINGS anyway.

Stupid moment... I did pull the bearing/gun assemblies and swap the new dust shields. Rotor definitely wouldn't fit with the dust shields like this lol

New wheel bearings, KING ext, 2014 T4R brake swap, Stop Tech slotted rotors, EBC Green stuff pads, Stainless brake lines

Why did you change from Dakar leaf pack to Deavers? Any reason in particular?

The reason I ask is because i ordered the Dakar OME leaf pack heavy duty, and I will install them this weekend. But I’m wondering if the Deavers are better or what’s the difference between them

The only reason is because mine had around 30k on them and with the extra weight of my high clearance bumper with swingout, bed cage, there is a lot more weight than I had. Plus I came across a guy looking for a set of plate bumpers who had an extra set. So it just worked out for me is all

These are a “ 4inch “ lift. But with this extra weight it’s around 3”
