That seems to be a lot more reasonable delivery time than what I've heard from others - which is a good thing.

I've always liked the hybrid look of Addicted bumpers. I've also heard numerous accounts regarding mounting issues, particularly with the tube bumper.

Seems like your experience has started off on the right foot. Which bumper did you go with?

@3378jakesr5 and I just finished installing my Addicted tube front bumper yesterday.

We ran into some issues with the bumper that resulted in it being mounted less than perfectly. Turns out that the quality of some of the bends, especially the main horizontal tube, was not as good as it could have been, which made it tough to line up on the truck. I decided to roll with it, knowing that it's good enough for my uses and that I still like the style of that bumper best.

Scotty was good to work with, and he was super cool in person when I went to FoCo to pick it up. But if you're in the market, I would at least talk to Jake before you pull the trigger. He does good work and he'll work with you to get what you want for the design. And he might be able to beat the lead time as well.

ETA: Gratuitous pic of my truck with said bumper.

Last time the photo came up you fuckers proceeded to bomb this thread with various photos of myself and somehow @aero3685. Figured I would attempt to avoid that situation again.

I enjoy it. Never notice it's there until I try to pull into the garage or smash the clearance warning sign in the Starbucks drive through as I'm crawling malls.

That kid with the 4runner has the originals lol. First and only day I've met him.

Lo and behold, tube bumper. The only real mounting issue I had is that the the frame extensions are given some extra tolerance with the crossmember. As a result, you'll have to shim them a bit when you drop the bolts through. Either get a few extra washers, or do what I did; grab a piece of steel plate and throw it on the drill press. I guess it depends on your outlook. I personally like that they give a bit of tolerance, because the alternative is overly-tight fits, which could require you to cut down, as opposed to building up.

Since I'm running to BV tomorrow morning, i figured I'll try and swap out a cv axle tonight to see if it will eliminate the shimmy as old man Brett suggested.

What size is the axle nut? I've seen write ups with metric and standard...
