It reminded me of @cynicalrider trying to drive through a 30 inch boulder on 13B? I simply presumed that he had spotted a line that I could not see. I had been hoping to see an astonishing feat of adept maneuverability that I too would have to perform to honour such a stunning accomplishment! The obstacle was formidable, a deep pocket of stone with a sheer climb of three feet or more. Narrow slivers of slippery stone lined the periphery, as the surfaces had only recently emerged from a late winter snow. The failing light foreshadowed the storms brewing to west, soon to be chasing the fair weather to the wind. I waited in anticipation, having secured the optimal vantage point to witness this feat of vehicular dexterity, torn between the anticipation of success, and the haunting fear of carnage waiting to be unleashed. Transfixed I watched as @HolyHandGrenade approached, stalking his prey like a Tiger waiting to pounce. @MY50cal at the crest, surveying the approach, silently signaling and tuning the approach of the two and half ton juggernaut as it prepared to devour the obstacle, churning rocks and trees in its fury. Inching forward, with hundreds of horsepower at the ready, with @stairgod, @Subway4X4, @fatfurious2, and @Sub-Zero cheering him on the brave knight prepared to unleash his steed in a joust with nature itself. I was helpless to intercede, my mind tangled with the perception of the challenge and the divine hope of conquest. With a mighty roar the beast lunged forward, tires scrambling for every patch of traction they could find, suspension flexing and compressing in an orgy of hydraulics and metal......

And then Jimmy just plowed his rig face first into a boulder.

@HolyHandGrenade it seems like we have the same wheeling style! :p That's partially the reason why I needed to beef up my IFS skid and crossmember too. :anonymous:

Crocodile Dundee was on, and I wrote with the Steve Irwin voice in my head, but I like the way you think!
    Crikey!

I kept thinking about Ocean's Thirteen, 'hit it again".

    The Butthead laugh was immediate.
I had added this for the ladies, as many love those romance novels.

Half of me really wants to try that obstacle. The other half knows I can't break anything before Moab. But AFTER is another story.

I can break shit now as I'll have time to fix it. As October approaches, I'll have to take it easy.
