If I can remember, since I removed the bumper from the parts truck I had, I kept the bolts from the parts truck. So I had extra bolts and somehow got them to fit without the tow hook.

I'm digging this build! "Slap hands!"

Do you plan to add a winch up front? I'd love to know how the 881s handle that tubular front bumper and a winch. I'm currently scouring the forum, trying to decide on which 'over-land / expedition' type suspension I want to run with. After viewing many of your posts (and the pictures that accompany them), I'm thinking the OME setup will more than meet my needs.

I've got full OME with 811's and an ARB bumper no winch. Would likely sag after awhile with bumper and winch. I've heard good things about the 883's if you're gonna run both.

    Thank you. Slap hands!

Winch will probably happen eventually, but not in the near future. I added extended studs from the get go so I can add a top spacer to combat a little sag if needed. However, I now have the bumper, ifs skid, trans skid, sliders. If I add a winch I'll be moving up coils. Most likely 882s. Same spring rate, just a tad longer.

Thanks for the input gents. I have the three pack Skid Row Skids on the way and the sliders will be installed in about a month. I still have time to research.

From what I understand, the 883 coils would be the better option for the heaviest trucks due the higher spring rate. I have also read that they don't flex well if your truck isn't on the really heavy side. Mine will likely never never be in the really heavy category b/c 4cy, Tube bumper, single battery. So I'll likely use the 882 if I need to combat some sag.

Installed my IFS skid. Heavy rascal.

Bought some derp for my tailgate badges. That was a total fiasco. Pulled it off and did my bumper instead. 99% I'm going with the TG rear. This kills the chrome until then.

Apparently the people who installed my locker are stupid and stripped one of the bolts on the axle housing, and didn't see it noteworthy enough to tell me. Started leaking diff fluid. Had a new stud and a new gasket installed last week. All dry now.

    Thank you, sir.

I catch myself sitting on the porch staring at it more than I'd like to admit.

Looks good man! I noticed you said you were thinking about getting a new rear bumper. When I was looking for a rear for mine, I looked at trail gear and a few other places. I noticed that the rear tube bumper from Addicted Off Road was practically identical to the one from Trail Gear and it cost a decent amount less after shipping. Not sure if this is still true, but worth looking into before committing into the Trail Gear when you could get the same bumper for less!

I'm pretty sure that bumper is a TG bumper. TG sells their stuff through several retailers.

You're probably right. I just noticed that AOR doesn't charge shipping and directly from TG does. Looked it up for my zip code shipped and it would save me like $30.
