it's a pain finding a place to get rid of tires. Luckily Prince George is having it's community clean up day and they'll take them (truck still registered there).

There is a tire recyclers plant in Charles City if all else fails, not sure how far you are from it though.

If you have an available hillside you could use them to terrace it. Fill them full of soil and plant flowers in them.

@Dimestore55 mentioned he was going to use a relay, so he shouldn't need the diode. With a SPDT relay, he can wire the bumper lights to the common pole; tap into 12V from the reverse lights and run that to the NC pole; and run 12V to the NO pole. Then just use a switch to activate the coil. This way with the switch off, the lights will come on when he puts it into reverse, and they'll turn on when he pushes the switch. He might need to up the amp rating of the fuse that the reverse lights use to accommodate the power draw of the bumper lights, but if they're LED, I don't think they'll be that much.

Thanks to everyone who hooked me up with the Avid light bar. Just got it back from the Rhino Liner, it was a bit of a challenge but she's on.20170414_160318.jpg

:woot::woot: Way to go Jeff get us a better pic! I did a little something myself today. I've been wanting seat covers ever since I got my truck but couldn't bring myself to spring for okale's or clazios but @TacoFMS turnef me on to these. I like them they fit pretty good and really changed the look of the truck

I decided to use 2 relays, now bear with me and I'll explain.
    1. I could replace relay 1 with a SPDT switch but I already purchased switches from Aironboard and they only come in SPST configuration. So essentially I'm using relay 1 to convert the switch to SPDT.
    2. I really don't need a direct battery connection to power those little LED lights but I'm planning to use this same configuration for my Off Road/Highbeams which are 2 x 100 watt bulbs so I'd like to keep the wiring uniform.
    3. I just like to wire stuff :D

    diag.jpg
So in the NC position (switch open) the reverse light switch will power the LED's and with switch closed they will be on constantly. Same principle with my high beams when I get those installed.

Yup. That works too. Personally, I would either go with a SPST relay for the second relay or put the battery on the NO terminal and the lights on the Pole. That way there isn't 12V floating out there on the NC terminal as a possible source to short things out.

Seat covers are never fun but these weren't too bad. I'll go back and watch the installation video now that they're on ha ha. Justin told me about them and I ordered strait from the manaufacturer. They were only $40 with free shipping. They look good and I'm happy thanks Jeff

Thanks that was very easy to read and I've got to get back into wiring. I hadn't wired anything in like 8 years until I wired up all my lights. I only want a few more
