I imagine curves will be much much more difficult to get it right with all the angles involved. Straight (and close to the body) should be a lot easier and look very similar to a curved one. Definitely interested in how this turns out, I really prefer tube bumpers over plate myself.

Yeah it was kind of difficult to get the angles straight. It is definitely more work so I might do it straight and as close as I can to the body. Unfortunately the store where I buy the tube was close today so I'll have to wait. I have an extra lower bumper so I cut it already

For those that inquired about the radio knob grips I now have a paypal account set up. The link is on the "3rd gen rubber radio knob grip" thread in the for sale section. Thanks.

I'm not very smart, but could somebody help clear some things for me.
How do I read this graph from my screen?
2, Not sure if other's here' have done this, but you could save address on your Navigation settings, and choose an icon for each address, and also have audible chimes. I have set an audible chime for my home address. So when you drive to an address, or go past that address, even if your navigation is off (meaning, not navigating) it would give you an audiable alert. Not sure how this behavior works for others trucks here, but my alert goes off a good half mile even before I reach my home. Of-course, I do not need an audible alert to find my home, or need navigation. It's just the address i chose to set it to check out this feature. Could this be because the calibration of my trucks GPS is off? Or does all these units have a wide error margin?

3, This is a dumb question, but related to the one above. The weather app on my screen, it would indicate that I am at place X instead of Y, when I have left place X over an half hour ago, [IMG]

4, While going downhill, legs off the accelerator, i noticed that the truck tries to keep the speed in check, some kindof hill descent control?, but my truck doesn't have that feature (not OR). I feel like the engine is trying to slow down the rate of speed. Is it just me? Either way, I find it very helpful.

Forgot this too, added floor mat clips to the passenger side as well, no more annoying shifting passenger floor mat. And finally installed my Hondo knobs and screen protector!

The graph is your last 15 min of driving (bottom)in 1 min increments. Green is past drives and yellow is current and the height is the mpg amount (right)

Oh and the past record is the same time/mpg but the time is updated by the user by hitting update. I hit update after each fill up so it keeps about the last month or so stored on the graph.

Is the mpg calculated by the truck shown, is it true mpg(s) or just expected mpg?
I can only estimate with true distance, like at times when I refill, I'd reset my trip meter on the console, and I have never gotten the 385 miles the dash says for each refill (19 gallons).

The numbers displayed are not exact because it is always going to display the miles until the reserve aka "0 miles until empty". I believe this reserve is approximately 2 gallons. Based on a few 19 gal fill ups at 350 miles at 18.4 mpg in the 21.1 gal tank. That would give you that extra 35ish gallons first displayed.
