I need help with deciding on how much I should lift my 2017 DCSB OR 4x4 AT and what lift kit/wheels/tires I should use. I know I want a 2"-3" kit, I want 16"-18" wheels, 265-285 AT tire, and I don't want to have to do any extreme modification to my truck to prevent rubbing. No cutting unless it is very very minor.

$3000 budget but I am good at finding things on sale or waiting for a sale. Right now I am leaning towards a 2.5" Toytec or Icon lift kit, 17" black after market wheels, and 275 BFG KOA2's? Any input would be awesome.

You lost me at how many inches. I usually don't answer any questions that start with those 3 words.

Oh, and welcome aboard the train!

265s. Keep the lift 2" or less. Lift alone won't increase the tire size you can run. Search function is Your friend

There are so many option, and ways to get to a 3" lift. Spend a month searching TW and then make your decision. You'll most likely have to deal with the Needle Bearing issue, so search ECGS Bushing, and decide if you still want to lift it.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Here's an idea.

Drive it till you find issues that need solving. Then buy the right parts to fix the issue.

Many build for what they 'think' they'll do. Few build to actually improve what they do.

With nothing more than a tire change these trucks are pretty capable right out of the box. At least give it a chance.

PS, you might consider that black wheels are on the cusp of being overplayed. All the chrome hating cool kids want them. They think they're being different, but they're just joining the lemmings. There are other quite nice options to consider.

PSS, if you are just building a mall queen, ignore all the above and proceed at will. Be sure to post finished photos in sepia parked in some clapped out industrial area. :D

PSSS. Just call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. Tell her your goals, send her your money, and enjoy your parts. Much easier than all this thinking.

6112 only give 2" max. Mine are at 1.5" and yes I had to do the fix. Mine failed immediately.
