Never aired down my tire either but I think in some case I should have done it lol! Better to have it in the glove box than not!

It's coming along. Got the second battery mounted in the bed, made up a switch panel for the cap, and got my fridge slide mounted.

Waiting on a few things but for the most part I just have to wire everything and mount stuff.

Are you guys tracking your L/100km or km/tank? Would be curious to compare my 2.7 to your 4.0 in real life.

I was when I first got the truck, then got out of the habit BUT I reset my trip counter last time I filled up, so I will update here how many clicks I get on this tank, I'm heading to the lake this weekend which is about 250km round trip

My avg is 15.0L/100km. However I haven't adjusted my kms for my tire size. Theoretically I should adjust my trips by the % difference my tires yeild.

that's a dclb that's on the heavier side. My avg has been calculated every fill up for a couple years. Use the gas tracker app. Gets depressing when you look at your overall fuel purchases.....

I use the gas tracker app too. Started last november and those winter months were depressing lol. Average 12.7 But I take in consideration my heavier winter wheels and tire set, shell, warm up time, cold air and spinnin in snow lol. With the 20* we got today and the nice week end I think I'll hit 11l/100 for this tank.:fingerscrossed:

Thanks guys. All about the smiles per gallon

Good luck! On one of my trips I was able to get 13-14l/100. However once those hills came up we were talking 15-16l/100. That sucked. I'm hoping a regear helps to some extent. It will definitely take some strain off the transmission.

Radio world is also good. Been to Durham radio and have gotten stuff there. Found them kind of snobby. They had an attitude and were not really willing to help a newbie. Had a little bit better service at radiowrd.

 No worries. Where are you putting your whip? I have a hood bracket from relentless fab that I'm trying to sell.

Only switched it out since I went with a light whip combo.

I have a tailgate mount from shmellfab. For now I have a 4' old mack antenna but I think its time is done... i am still debating between a 5' firestick or the 102" stainless lol I think the 102" will look too much, even if I find it cool lol 5' will be enough.... will have to decide between need and want haha

I had a steel whip and on the trails it would smack against my roof. So annoying. I'm running a fibreglass whip. Works okay. Plus if it breaks it's not going to inpale someone lol

Lol! The more I think the more I know the fiberglass is the best option, maybe with a spring to avoid breaking it. Are you running your on the tailgate too?
