Please excuse my ignorance if this isnt where this post belongs. Admins, please delete or move my thread if it is an issue.

I have a 2015 TRD Offroad taco that I am wanting to lift and essentially turn into "play toy" for lack of a better word. I was planning on keeping it stock, but unfortunately a kid was texting and driving, ran a stop sign, and I T-boned him going down the highway. Now then, on to the more important matter...I was going to go with either the 3" Toytec lift with Bilstein 5100 coils or the 3" OME lift with the 886 coils and 90000 shocks and a Pelfreybuilt front bumper.

Any suggestions for which lift? Will I need to buy extended brake lines for the front and rear? Will the front end sag down due to the bumper if I decide to go with the Toytec lift?

Sad to see a wrecked BRM Tacoma. After much consideration, I went with OME throughout, 885 coils, Nitrocharger shocks, Dakar leafs. If you wan a full 3", and plan to do a plate bumper, the 886 is probably the spring you'll want to look at. I only have 120# up front with my smaller slim bumper and winch w/ synthetic line - and was only looking to yield 2-2.5" of lift.

Please budget for aftermarket upper control arms. At 3" you will definitely need them.

I'm super happy with my Icon system! Get the 700# springs up front if you're going with a steel bumper. The All Pro expedition springs adapt to all loads well too and give a great ride plus lift!
