Oops. I didn't realize it was for just the aluminium plate that sits on top of the stand.

I was about to add like fifty to my cart when I saw it was only $20. Then I read the fine print. :D

But from reading the description on the stand, it sounds like you'd want this anyway. There is an open space and this is super practical.

Agreed. It would make it nice to have a place to set stuff while cooking.

Technically, if we all still order, they are still selling 60+ units.

    Hey guys,

If you are looking for an alternative stove Outdoor Cooking has the Camp Chef Mountaineer 2 burner and it's listed at $30 off the MSRP plus the site has a 10% off code if you sign up for their email (code: ODCW10) and free shipping. It's similar to the Partner stoves if you are looking for a 2 burner stove. Obviously it's only this model that has a similar build but if it fits your needs it's a nice deal. With the discounts it comes down to $179.99 with free shipping. Anyway hope that helps some of you out.

Yea, I figured. That's pretty much how most of the small store websites work. Majority don't actually hold any inventory. Everything is dropshipped.

If I had to guess, it would be that Partner Steel is not equipped to take orders directly from consumers. Maybe they use an invoice system, issue distributor credit, etc and just can't take our credit card payments and handle the logistics of all the customer servicing that is sometimes required. Other times suppliers want to protect their dealer network and not pose as competition for them - maybe one of them complained and PS had to back out. I doubt it's because PS doesn't want to sell 60+ units. :D

I got mine today! But the propane fitting is on the left side. I had asked for it to be on the right side. Oh well.
This is one hell of a stove. I can tell this thing is going to last a long time.
