I heard the Napa CVs are made from the scraps left over from producing Factor55 stuff.

 

Yeah I mentioned them before in a post. I went last week and they were sold out. Frickin Magpul needs to get into the Mini 14 game. Internet speculation for prolly 5 years about it..

 

I think it's an excellent way to re-purpose that product.

 

No visible shaking from the cv's.

I'll throw up a video, the only thing you can see is the front skid shakes at the same frequency.

 

Making a new bracket for a more solid mount. Still haven't got a night shot.

 

Heres the video. Didnt see much, other than you can see the skid plate shaking. That seemed to line up with the times when the steering wheel/truck were shaking. It only happened closer to the end of each video, sustained for 20'ish seconds. 55-65mph.

Prolly gonna find out it's a bend in the skid plate, causing a vibration as it hits the wind.
Caused by some flunky hitting a curb as they drove from truck to dealership. Bet they caught air too.

The first part of the video looks rougher than the second even though we see more of the skid in the second. I think @teamhypoxia has a good suggestion to remove the skid for testing purposes.

The first part of the video, the road was rougher, and smooth at the end.

Heading up the mountain, skid has been removed for testing purposes.

If it fixes the issue, I'll buy her an aluminum skid, and give another one away!
